Children's Health and Childhood Immunisation

The doctors at the Practice have a special interest in children’s health and can help answer any questions or concerns about your child’s health and development, continuing to review them as they move into their teen years.

Childhood immunisations

Immunisation from birth is highly recommended for all Australian children. The immunisation schedule provides a summary of vaccines that your child needs 6 weeks, 4 months, 6 months, 12 months, 18 months and 4 years.

When bringing in your child for immunisations, you will have an initial 15 minute appointment with our practice nurse who will weigh and measure your child and answer any questions you might have about the immunisations. This will be following by a 15 minute appointment with your doctor to give the appropriate vaccinations with the nurse.

Please bring you child’s blue book.

Please call reception on (02) 9921 1708 to make an appointment, please let our receptionists know which childhood immunisation the appointment is for.
